The newly founded Queensland National Ballet is a collaboration between the Queensland National Ballet Company and the Queensland National Ballet School with the utmost professional and qualified teachers and staff.

2009 will be a very exciting year for all our students and dancers - we will have eisteddfods, exams, end of year shows and our Queensland National Ballet Company performances where selected students of the school will have the very special opportunity to perform with our professional Ballet Company. Performance season will be held throughout the year and are a great experience for our young students.

As a pre-requisite, here at QNB we offer ballet students the opportunity to reach their full potential, using the Russian Vaganova Method of Classical Ballet. The progressive training program has produced some of the best dancers in the world and professional dancers in almost every company around the world. We emphasize the simultaneous development of both technical proficiency and individual artistry and a complete range of movemental expression that comes out of proper placement and a strong classical dance foundation.
