QNBallet - Full Time Courses "Classical and Modern Dance"
Queensland National Ballet's Certificate III and IV Course in Performing Arts (Classical and Modern Dance)is a Registered Training
Organisation and Accredited Course, under the Australia Quality Training Framework by the Training and Empolyment
Recognition Council and is listed on the National Training Information Service.
QNB also offers a 2 Year Diploma of Performing Arts (Classical and Modern Dance).
Students may begin their Full-Time Training from Ages 13/14, Equivilent to Grade 8 & 9 in High School, QNB has structured the
Full-time programme for students to graduate at the age of 18-20years, ready to purse a career in professional dance.
Full-time
students are benefited by working in a focused and motivated environment, The QNB Staff include former Principle
Dancers from, The English National Ballet Company, The Australian Ballet Company, Bejart Ballet Lausanne, Sharing their knowledge and experiences with the students.
The Full-time Training Programmes runs Monday to Saturday, allowing time for school work and study.
Queensland National Ballet students study in the Russian Vaganova method of Classical Ballet, Syllabus and based Open classes,
This is a rare and sought after syllabus in Australia and especially Queensland,
Advancing Students technique, strength and presentation, Creating Students into Dancers.
The progress of all students is carefully monitored and assessed, receiving individual reports each semester.
