Full Time Ballet School

Queensland National Ballet's Certificate III and IV Course in Performing Arts (Classical and Modern Dance)is a Registered Training Organisation and Accredited Course, under the Australia Quality Training Framework by the Training and Employment Recognition Council and is listed on the National Training Information Service.

QNB also offers a 2 Year Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Classical and Modern Dance). QNB has structured the Full-time programme for students to graduate between the ages of 17-22years, ready to pursue a career in professional dance.

Full-time students benefit from working in a focused, highly motivated environment. The QNB Staff offer qualified, experienced teaching across a range of dance styles. Our teachers include former international principal and solo dancers, whose priority is to convey their skills and expertise in a positive learning setting. 

The full-time training timetable runs Monday to Friday, allowing time for schoolwork and study. Queensland National Ballet students study in the Russian Vaganova method of Classical Ballet. This is a rare and sought after syllabus in Australia, facilitating advanced technique, strength and presentation.

The progress of all full-time students is carefully monitored and assessed. Students receive individual written reports each semester.
