'Dance is a tool for expressing myself totally, for being, breathing, living, becoming myself.' Bejart
Queensland National Dance Company
QNDC is a dynamic new company of full-time professional dancers, performing a myriad of dance works choreographed by Artistic Director Martyn Fleming. Our dance company aspires to represent Queensland and our nation, locally and internationally. As a precursor to QNDC, QN Ballet School continues to develop and maintain quality, state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities.
QNDC Performances, Tours and Collaborative Events
Performances include three in-house events each year at the Queensland Old Museum, Performing Arts Complex. A performance tour is planned annually, highlighting the company’s strongest original works. In collaboration with other performing arts entities, including The Queensland Youth Orchestras, QNDC will offer diverse events to a broader audience.
QNDC Professional Years - Study and Training
Graduate Diploma and Advanced Diploma students may be offered placement into QNDC via full-time Professional Years study and training. Dancers are offered positions according to aptitude, ability and readiness to make the commitment to pursue a professional career in dance performance.
